Reclaiming the World as Sacred

Deep Blues Zen, led by Zen teacher Sensei Yves Ensho Calderone, provides a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for personal and spiritual development. Our community grows through friendship and offers caring support for each member’s engagement in the world. We share Zen as a way of living that reclaims the world as sacred and embraces it. We offer onsite and online times for group Zen practice, individual private guidance, classes, workshops, retreats, liturgy, and ceremonies. Students who wish can take initiation into Zen Buddhism and the Zen Garland Order. Advanced students can choose to ordain as Zen priests and enter our Teacher Training Track.
Deep Blues Zen is part of the International Zen Garland Order, founded in 2012 by Roshi Paul Genki Kahn and Roshi Monika Genmitsu Kahn.
